Highlights:
Have you ever visited someone and they've said to you, hey, want to see the video we have of our Wedding, Vacation or any other event they may have? And you say to yourself, Oh No! But you don't want to embarrass them and agree to it. Usually you probably can count on an hour or more of watching something that is truly boring with many parts that are meaningless? A perfect example is people dancing at a wedding reception. Or, they may be saying to you, "watch what so and so does" in a certain portion of the video but you have sit and wait with all the meaningless stuff to play first. With a video that only shows the highlights of that occasion it becomes fun to watch and can be very entertaining with emotions, laughter and interest.
Musical Background:
This can be a very important part of your video. Especially if the contents of your video is made from still pictures, 8mm or any other source without audio. The musical background can become very interesting when you adapt the music of that era, your wedding song placed strategically when your photo's of your 1st dance of your wedding is shown and other special music you may have had played at your Wedding or Function.
Musical Assistance:
Some of you may not know the music that may have been popular of certain era's or just don't know what music to use. We can assist you and let you know the music of that era.
Transitions:
When watching a video it becomes joyful when a transition is used when you have edited out a part and started a new part. They are also used when a different scene is started from when you may have shut off and then restarted your recorder or film maker. It is much better when it's not just an abrupt change. We offer many different transitions to our DVD's, not just your typical fade in and out or slide over transitions. And, we have many transitions that will fit the occasions.
Captions:
Again we will use different captions with different parts of your movie. For instance or example, in a typical wedding video we may start out with "Jane and John So and So" followed by "Would Like to Invite You" followed by "To Their Special Day" followed by" Their Wedding" with Transitions between each Caption. More Captions can be added to bring you into different parts of your movie. We will also use different fonts and lettering for your video instead of the basic block lettering.
Still Pictures and Photos:
We will scan your pictures or photos and put them on a CD to save those photo's from further damage of fading and cracking. We will crop those photo's and many times can produce a better photo for you after being Cropped. We can also do minor adjustments to them, such as removing red eye, scratches and some spots from the photo.(We are not professionals in this category and can refer you to a specialist if necessary,) We can also crop an extra photo from one photo, giving you another photo to your collection or remove someone from a photo that you might not want to remember. These photo's can also be made into a very nice movie with the captions transitions and musical background. Also, when using still photo's to make your movie, we will not leave you with a black background because of a narrow picture. We will use a motion or still background to produce a full scene.
VHS Tapes:
While on the subject of still photo's, did you know that we can capture many new photo's from your VHS film? Creating another way of having more memories. Many times we will capture a photo in a natural state and not a pose. Some clients have actually told us that they have had a certain photo blown up and hung up in their homes.
Also, there are many cases where we can actually improve the VHS film. Improving color, brightness, contrast and even being able to stabilize the film in most but not all cases.
Labeling your CD or DVD.
We will put a color label on the face of your DVD. We can also put a picture along with the title on the label. We do not use paper labels on your DVD.
Growing Up and Growing Together:
It is becoming more and more popular for us to provide the Bride and Groom
with a video made of them each growing up from still photos and growing together, meaning their days of dating right through their engagement and up to their special day shown at the beginning of their wedding reception. Usually a good time to present this video would be after the wedding party is announced and cocktails are being served or before the meal is served. This video is usually approximately 15 minutes or so in length.
The growing up video is also becoming more and more popular to show at birthday parties, showers and other events vs. taking all the photo's of individuals and taping or pinning them to large display board.
It is also becoming very popular for anniversary parties with the many the years that couple's have been together and their children and grandchildren through the years.
